THG Joins British Beauty Council as Patron to Drive Industry Change
THG, the owner of Lookfantastic and Cult Beauty, has partnered with the British Beauty Council as a Patron. As its first action, Lookfantastic launched the "What the SPF?!" campaign, advocating for SPF as a daily essential exempt from taxation and offering a 20% reduction on SPF 30+ products. THG's CEO, Lucy Gorman, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting THG's commitment to supporting the Council's strategic initiatives. Millie Kendall O.B.E., CEO of the British Beauty Council, welcomed THG, noting its influence in beauty manufacturing, sustainability, and e-commerce. In April, THG reported a 2.1% increase in revenue for Q1 2024, driven by a 9.3% rise in its beauty division. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to advancing the beauty industry through impactful and sustainable practices.
